  • Development of a toolkit for the assessment of language and communication disorders for the Romanian population, for different age period and various profiles (hearing impairment, cognitive disability, multiple disability, etc.).
  • Standardization of tests for the assessment of language and communication development.
  • Structuring integrative approaches of screening of language and communication disorders.
  • Develop best practice models in the field of intervention and rehabilitation in the context of language and communication disorders.
  • Pomoting models of good practice
  • Promoting the active involvement of undergraduate and graduate students in the research activities of the Lab (i.e., projects and diploma theses supervision); involvement of Master students in the research teams of the ongoing research projects.
  • Promoting models of good practices will be achieved through specialized publications in peer-reviewed journals, volumes of national and international scientific events, collective volumes (collection of Special Education studies, the collection of Multiple Disabilities), authors’ volumes.
  • Partnerships with national and international research groups, educational authorities, special and inclusive schools, early  intervention programs, nurseries and kindergartens.
